WINNERS 2018/2019 RESEARCH CALL

The Expert Panel met on the 30th of October 2018 to assess the projects that would be eligible for the 2018/2019 Research Call.

In this edition of the Call, 39 projects were received, 15 choose Type A, intended for established researchers and 24 choose Type B, intended for emerging researchers.

After several rounds of selection processes, the final score was set. Projects that obtained the highest score in each category were:

Type A). Established researchers

“Platform based on CRISPR/Cas-9-edited organoids for the functional evaluation of gene variants in colorectal cancer.”

The Patronage of the Foundation on proposal from the Scientific Committee approved the granting of two fellowship grants, valued each at 60,000 €, one for every of the two above mentioned projects.

The research will take place during the academic years 2019 and 2020.
